We nurture the best out of every girl – whatever that might be

At Ivanhoe Girls' we are committed to developing young women of character: generous of spirit, socially progressive and determined to create a better world.

Innovation Station

The purpose built Innovation Station is a dedicated maker space at Ivanhoe Girls', allowing students from the Eearly Learning Centre through to VCE to create new and exciting projects and develop ideas utilising specialised industry standard equipment.

Year 9 TREK Program

During Year 9, Ivanhoe Girls' students complete a semester-long subject titled TREK. Symbolic of the learning challenge ahead of them, students embark on an enquiry-based journey (Know, Think, Create and Connect) as they are challenged to work towards a personal goal of their choosing.

Year 8 Outdoor Education Camp

Our innovative Pastoral Care system takes a rigorous approach to wellbeing. It means pushing our students beyond their comfort zone to really develop character and confidence.

The Passion Projects

Leadership takes many forms. For this group of Year 11 students, it was about finding ways to inspire their fellow students to harness their passion for social justice and take real action.
