Earlier this year, it was wonderful to welcome Alumni back to the School for two special events held in the Performing Arts Centre Foyer. These events provided an opportunity to reconnect, celebrate milestones, and catch up with friends.
Firstly, we welcomed back the Class of 2025, many of who were returning to the School for the first time since graduating. Joined by their parents, graduates enjoyed the chance to reconnect with classmates and teachers, reflect on their final year and share news of their tertiary destinations, travel plans, gap years and future aspirations. It was a fitting celebration of the Class of 2025’s achievements as they embark on the next chapter of their future.
A reunion was held for four milestone year levels who returned for a combined reunion celebration, including the Class of 1991 (35 Year reunion), Class of 1996 (30 Year reunion), Class of 2001 (25 Year reunion) and Class of 2006 (20 Year reunion). The event was filled with laughter, shared memories, and excited conversations as old friends reunited and reflected on their time at Ivanhoe Girls’.
For many, it was an opportunity to celebrate friendships that have endured over decades and reconnect with the School that brought them together.
The laughter, stories and renewed connections shared across both events were a wonderful reminder that while students may leave Ivanhoe Girls’, their connection to the School and to one another remains strong.
