Our Community

Ivanhoe Girls' offers a warm and friendly environment that extends across the generations to past students, staff and parents. We invite you to become a part of the Ivanhoe Girls' family.

At Ivanhoe Girls' our community is a friendly collective of Staff, Parents, Alumni, Associations and external Strategic Partnerships. The School encourages all members of our community to connect to each other and to help enrich the cultural life of the School. From participating in the Parent's Association, joining the Alpine Cross Country team, to supporting the Music Faculty through the Friends of Music, there are many ways for current Parents to get involved with the School and to be a visible support for their daughter's passions and interests.

We warmly encourage our Past Students to stay connected to Ivanhoe Girls'. The School hosts a cocktail party Reunion once every five years for all past students up to their 35-Year Reunion, and then they are invited to an Annual Luncheon, held in the Hillsley Visual Arts and Hospitality Complex. Past Students are also encouraged to join the Ivanhoe Girls' Old Grammarians Association (IGOGA) to receive bi-annual newsletters to stay up-to-date with their classmates and other Old Grammarians.

At the start of each year, the Cooerwull Service Awards are a special event to recognise those members of the School Community that have contributed to Ivanhoe Girls' for a period of service. We recognise and pay thanks to those members of the Associations, Committees and Staff who have shown dedication and commitment to the School.
